A Mental health Helpline led by BAME experts

Providing mental health support for individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those facing language barriers and additional challenges to recovery

Serenity Mental Health helpline

Our primary role in mental health awareness is to provide Immediate assistance via phone or online platform to individuals who experience mental health challenges.

This includes counselling services and referrals to local providers, as well as public awareness campaigns aimed at educating the Somali community about mental health challenges, reducing stigma, and encouraging individuals to seek support.

Our Services

While we provide support and information, it’s important to remember we are not a substitute for professional mental health services. We encourage individuals to seek help from qualified professionals for mental health concerns.

We can offer detailed explanations about various mental health conditions, treatments, and coping strategies.

Offering Emotional Support

Active Listening: We can engage in conversations where individuals can express their feelings and thoughts, providing a space to be heard.
Stress Relief Techniques: We can suggest mindfulness exercises, breathing techniques, and other methods to help manage stress and anxiety.

Resource Sharing

We direct users to credible resources, including articles, helplines, and organisations dedicated to mental health.

Connecting to Professional Help

Crisis Resources: We can provide contact information for crisis hotlines and mental health professionals for those in need of immediate support.
● Guidance on Seeking Help: We guide individuals on how to seek therapy or counselling, including what to expect and how to find the right professional.
